About

AI agents are getting good at a lot of things — answering questions, writing code, managing calendars. But when it comes to actually buying something, they hit a wall. There's no simple, trustworthy way for an agent to search for a product, add it to a cart, and place a real order.

That's why we built buystuff.ai — a simple REST API that lets AI agents shop on Amazon. Search over a billion products, compare prices and ratings, build a cart, and place real orders shipped to any US address.

No API keys required. No credit cards collected through the API. No complicated setup. Just one endpoint and a few HTTP calls.

Simple by design

No payment information ever touches the API. The user always has full control — they receive an email, review the order, and decide whether to pay. If they don't, nothing happens.

Built for the agent economy

buystuff.ai is published as a skill on ClawHub, the OpenClaw skills marketplace. Any compatible AI agent can install it with a single command and start shopping immediately.

We designed the API to be agent-friendly from day one: clear error messages, session management via headers, structured JSON responses, and a complete SKILL.md with step-by-step instructions an agent can follow autonomously.

Transparent pricing, no surprises

We charge a 10% service fee on top of the Amazon product price and shipping. That's it. The fee covers fulfillment, payment processing, and customer support. Every price breakdown is shown before the user commits to anything.

Geeks in the Woods

buystuff.ai is built and operated by Geeks in the Woods, a creative studio founded by twin brothers in Alaska. We make software that explores what happens when humans and AI build together — and buystuff.ai is one of those experiments: giving AI agents the ability to shop in the real world.

Each of our projects begins as a conversation and becomes something neither side could have made alone. Learn more at geeksinthewoods.com.
